One of the most popular features available to our customers is the dashboard functionality.
Dashboards refresh automatically every 30 seconds, providing close to real-time insights into business trends as they occur.
- Every user can create their unique dashboards.
- There is no limit to the number of dashboards a user can create.
- There are several layout options to choose from.
New accounts are pre-configured with three default dashboard templates:
- Company Overview
- Extension Performance
- Group Performance
These templates can be edited or deleted based on user preferences. Returning users are automatically directed to their default dashboard.
To create a new dashboard you have to click on the button appearing on the right side of dashboard subject.
A banner with all default templates appears, from here you can switch between different dashboards.
Click on the "+ Add Dashboard" button to create your first dashboard.
Once clicked, a new blank dashboard will be created for you to add customize it.
Clicking the (+) icon on the blank tiles allows you to select the type of data to display in each dashboard cell.
Multiple layouts can be changed by going to Options -->Edit -->Layout.
For detailed steps on creating and customizing dashboards, refer to our video tutorial, which offers a step-by-step guide on this functionality.
Other options are also available in this area such as enabling "Auto Scroll" for "leaderboard" style cycling of information and applying a security role (for non-restricted users only) to a dashboard to restrict displayed data.
Changing Dashboard Names
Within the Options -> Edit area you can edit the dashboards display name in the text field at the top left.
This display name will be shown at the top of your dashboard, as well as within the “Dashboard Menu” to help you select between dashboards.
Dashboard Data Interpretation
Most dashboard widgets mirror the functionality and data output of existing reports in the reporting interface. Refer to the related reporting sections for guidance on input and output data requirements.
Read-Only Dashboard Access
By default, we enable a short URL in the format of https://callat.io/xxxxxx for read-only, unauthenticated access to the dashboard. This provides an easy access method for wall-mounted screens or employees who may need to see real-time information but don't necessarily need an account on the system to view historical data.
This can be enabled/disabled/accessed from the Options -> Share menu.
You can disable unauthenticated access by selecting the “Disable” link next to the dashboard's short URL and re-enable it later by clicking the Enable link in the same spot.
To add an extra layer of security while maintaining unauthenticated access, dashboards can be password-protected. This allows users to share dashboards securely without requiring recipients to log in to the platform for access.
