Report Purpose
To provide a summary of call costs for a system user, broken down by call type categories.
It can also itemize outbound calls and assign individual costs to each call made by the user.
Required Input (Report Subject)
- A user/extension must be selected as the subject of this report.
- Selection of a user/extension will include all numbers linked to this user or device in the Users & Devices configuration area.
- Display Itemized Call Costs - When enabled, this option shows each call in a ‘phone bill’ style layout rather than summarizing costs per device.
- Summarize By - This outlines how calls should be aggregated.
- "Call Costs": Shows costs in summary output.
- “Call Duration”: Show total time (in Days/ Hours/ Minutes/ Seconds) for the call types in summary.
Optional Input (Available Filters)
- Trunk Filter - Apply a trunk filter to display only calls made through the specified trunks.
Output Data
Data for this report is output in the form of a table comprising of;
Without “Display Itemized Call Costs” selected:
- Device - The display name/number associated with the device.
- Local Calls - Total cost and number of calls made.
- National Calls - Total cost and number of calls made.
- Mobile Calls - Total cost and number of calls made.
- Premium Calls - Total cost and number of calls made.
- International Calls - Total cost and number of calls made.
- Unclassified Calls - Total number of calls made that did not match a costing rule.
- Total Calls - Total cost and number of calls across all classifications.
With “Display Itemized Call Costs” selected:
- Date/Time - Date and time of the associated call.
- Duration - Duration of the call in hours: minutes: seconds (h:m:s).
- Number Called - The external number dialed in this call.
- Caller - Extension number of the device placing the call.
- Classification - The call classification this particular call falls within (see above).
- Call Cost - Cost of the call based on input rules within the call costing rates configuration.
